Our parade committee was hard at work this year constructing
"Jack Frost's Snowflake Factory" for the annual Barrie Santa Claus Parade! We'd like to send a very sincere "Thank you" to Culligan Barrie, Galbraith Family Law, CRS Construction Rentals & everyone who helped make this possible!!

SEARS Fundraising BBQ--July 24, 2010

Thank you to everyone who came out & supported our fundraising BBQ @ SEARS on July 24! We had a fantastic day, met lots of great people and appreciate everyone's support!

 

Barrie Block Parent once again took part in Celebrate Barrie at the waterfront! We were pleased to offer an exciting craft for the kids to do, and talk with many potential and active Block Parents in our city! We had volunteers stationed all day to answer questions and help with the craft.

We would like to send a HUGE "Thank you" to the Ontario Early Years Centre of Barrie! The annual picnic on June 1 provided us with a wonderful opportunity to get out & about in the community and everyone had a great time! We look forward to next year!

 

Congratulations go out to Alissa B. & Kelli T. of Barrie!!! Alissa's home won the Block Parent® "Home ... For The Holidays" Photo Contest!! She will receive a Tim Horton's gift card & Barrie Block Parent® will receive free program registration for 2010!

Kelli's home received an honorable mention for the Hallowe'en home decorating contest!
